A Bit About Me

Hi, I’m Amarina—but you can call me Amy!

I created WholeLymph to be the kind of space I wish existed when I first started working with people managing lymphedema and edema in general: a place full of grounded knowledge, encouragement, and practical tools for real-life healing.

As a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Technician, I’ve spent years helping clients navigate the physical and emotional weight of chronic swelling, post-surgical recovery, and lymphatic system dysfunction. But this work goes far beyond the hands-on care I provide—it's about advocacy, education, and helping you feel confident in your body again.

I’ve been a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and Medical Massage Therapist (MMT), certified through Blue Heron Academy and licensed by the State of Michigan since 2021. My advanced training includes certification as a Certified Lymphedema Technician (CLT), with specialization in Complete Decongestive Therapy and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. I’m currently expanding my clinical scope through the International Lymphedema and Wound Training Institute (ILWTI), where I’m pursuing the CLT-LANA credential along with certifications in Wound Therapy (CWT), Compression Therapy (CCS), and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD-C).

My work focuses on both post-operative care (like abdominoplasty, hernia repair, and liposuction recovery) and long-term lymphedema management for chronic or oncology-related swelling. I’m especially passionate about advocating for early intervention, helping people better understand their conditions, and making lymphedema care more approachable and empowering.

WholeLymph is my way of extending care beyond the treatment table—into your daily life. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, recovering from surgery, or simply trying to better understand your body’s signals, I’m here to help you feel seen, supported, and stronger in your healing.

You can also catch more tips for stress management, circulation, and inflammation support on my YouTube channel here called Qi with AmyLee.

I believe in evidence-based strategies and soul-centered care. That means merging the best of clinical research with empowering self-care practices. Whether you’re managing post-op edema, living with chronic lymphedema, or just looking for reliable information in a noisy world, you’re in the right place.

My mission? To help you move freely, feel informed, and know that you’re not alone in this.💚
